A poetic, somatic website that slows visitors down just enough to feel something while giving them a clear path to work with Lea.

Overview

Lea Bett is a somatic coach and embodied practice guide whose work blends nervous system awareness, movement, and mindful witnessing. She needed a digital home that could hold nuance and depth without feeling abstract or heavy a place where visitors could feel the work before ever booking a session.

The design direction for the site began with an early concept created by Astrid Koch, whose visual thinking helped set the tone and mood. Illustrated Domain was hired to develop, refine, and fully build the website in Wix Studio transforming those initial ideas into a complete, four-page digital experience with structure, motion, functionality, and technical readiness.

The final website offers a spacious, grounded environment that mirrors the slower, more embodied pace Lea brings to her practice.

The Challenge

Somatic work is experiential and deeply personal, which introduced several design and structural challenges:

  • Translating an embodied, intuitive practice into clear and inviting digital language

  • Organizing diverse offerings and concepts without overwhelming visitors

  • Using animation in a way that enhances calm and presence

  • Honoring the early design direction while creating a fully functional, scalable site

  • Supporting Lea through a collaborative, iterative creation process

  • Handing over a site she could confidently update and evolve on her own

Our Solution

We shaped Astrid’s concepts into a fully realized, custom Wix Studio website balancing artistry, clarity, and technical performance.

Experience & Structure A four-page architecture (Home, Offerings, Practice, About) guides visitors from curiosity to understanding and onward to booking. Each page was restructured for clarity, flow, and emotional resonance.

Somatic-Inspired Motion & Visual Language Drawing from provided visual cues and Lea’s SOMA framework, we designed gentle scroll-based animations and subtle pacing adjustments. Motion was tuned to feel like breath not distraction.

Offerings & Conversion Pathways The offerings were simplified, reorganized, and clarified to make booking intuitive. Repeated, low-pressure CTAs invite visitors into either a session or a discovery call.

Typography & Poetic Layouts Lea’s writing with its lyrical, introspective tone required room to breathe. We crafted spacing, hierarchy, and rhythm that support the emotional quality of her words.

Technical Buildout & LaunchIllustrated Domain handled platform transfer, domain configuration, responsive adaptation, accessibility, SEO foundations, and training—ensuring Lea could manage and evolve her site long-term.

The Results

The final website is a grounded, beautiful reflection of Lea’s work:

  • A cohesive digital presence that feels somatic, warm, and human

  • Clear booking pathways that reduce friction and increase engagement

  • Refined layouts and motion that support reflection rather than rush

  • A design that honors the creative direction while delivering full functionality and scalability

  • A site Lea can expand, revise, and make her own as her practice grows

CTA

If your work is nuanced, experiential, or hard to fit into a template, we can help shape it into a digital presence that feels deeply aligned and converts with clarity and ease.
